Thanks to the deep observations made by the James Webb telescope, the nebula, located in the Belt of the Orion Constellation about 1,350 light-years from Earth, can reveal its true complexity when seen in detail.
The image, composed of representative colors in red and very near-infrared, offers a view of the Orion Nebula, an incredible region of star formation, young stars, gas, and dark cosmic dust.
Furthermore, an exciting discovery in this image is the unexpected presence of a large number of Jupiter Mass Binary Objects, or JuMBOs, which can provide valuable insights into the processes of star formation.
